Year:

1990

Description:

USACERL in conjunction with Heresite-Salkephen, Inc. developed an anti-scale/corrosion coating system that eliminates the need to acid clean scaled coils of water heaters or to chemically treat the water to prevent scaling. The coating consists of an unpigmented baking phenolic applied over a base of pigmented baking phenolic. This combination produces an extremely hard and glossy surface with excellent heat transfer and scale release properties. It is useable for potable water installations.
