BRT 1999 National Construction
ConferenceThe First General Session of the
Business Roundtable 1999 Construction Conference on November 15, 1999 at
Ponte Vedra Beach was led off by a presentation on the Construction
Innovation Forum, the NOVA Award, and the benefits of Construction
Innovation Programs, particularly for construction owners.
The presentation, adapted for the internet, can be
viewed in either of the following formats:
- BRT_Paper.htm
(1,130 Kb in total) is the preferred format for this Power Point
presentation, but it only works on Microsoft Internet Explorer browser..
- BRT_Paper.pdf (744 Kb) can be
used on any browser. (You need
Adobe
Acrobat Reader to view or print this PDF file.)
Viewing, Downloading, and
Printing Nominations
Nominations are stored and downloaded as PDF files. You
can view a nomination in your browser by clicking on its short-title, and
you can print the nomination once you have it in your browser.
(You need the
Adobe
Acrobat Reader to view and print PDF files.)
To download and save a file on your disk drive, click on it in whatever
manner works for your browser and operating system. (For example, in
Internet Explorer 4, right click your mouse on the short-title and select
"Save Target As" to download the file.) This will save the PDF file onto
the disk drive and directory you specify, with the name you specify. (We
recommend you retain the PDF suffix.) Nomination files are now named
according to their number. For example, FOUNDATION RETROFIT, which is
nomination seven, is file Nom07_00.PDF.
You are welcome to distribute the summaries, entire set,
or individual nominations either as computer file(s) or in printed form.
The NomPrint.PDF file of the 2000 NOVA
Award Nominations provides the best
quality printing. You may also photocopy nominations, but photocopying
loses much of the detail, particularly in the graphics.
